She would paint her wonderful watercolours, capturing with her eye the beauty of nature. He would assist; as chauffeur, carrying easel and paints through fields and meadows and watched as his beloved artist created.
The artist has passed but her artwork remains eternal. Her faithful assistant chose a black boulder, etched with trilliums from one of her paintings, and her signature off to the side. Below the monument is a poem written by Ken summing up his feelings for Carole’s talents.
Our thanks to Scott and Stephen Blair of Blair and Son for their assistance in creating this plaque for the Wilson family.
